Test Description

The EU Food Information for Consumers Regulation No.1169/2011 lists 14 food allergens that must always be labelled in pre-packed and non-prepacked foods.

Sesame is a well-known allergen. As such they are subject to strict regulations which challenge testing laboratories to achieve accurate results which are repeatable across a long timescale and range of testing environments.

Bread is one of the most consumed food products worldwide, which is itself a real challenge for manufacturers and testing laboratories to ensure high quality products are being passed to the consumer.

To achieve this proficiency testing activities should be utilised to achieve credible, repeatable results from which to satisfy both regulators and manufacturers of your high quality testing practises.

Fapas proficiency tests use real food matrices to provide directly comparable results from which to highlight areas of improvement across your testing activities.
