The analysis of feed for oil, protein and fibre is important for ensuring animals receive the correct macro nutrients for their health, welfare and production. For farmers this has real commercial importance in terms of production levels and quality of produce.
Within this quality control material we include Calcium and Phosphorous as part of the detectable analytes. This is due to the large importance within egg shell development within poultry. As a result the levels of these nutrients within animal diets should be monitored effectively by farmers and by extension testing laboratories.
