Test Description

This quality control is intended to allow laboratories to demonstrate competence in the analysis of basic quality parameters in brandy.  Alcohol analyis is required to ensure the correct duty payments are made on the traded product, and bitterness is a key taste parameter by which consumers choose their preferred type and brand of beer.

Routine monitoring of beer batches can help to improve the consistency of product over time reducing the risk of new batches tasting significantly different from those the consumer is used to.

Fapas quality controls can help highlight potential deficiencies within your testing process, such as analytical bias due to poor instrumentation calibration for example. By using real food and beverage matrices your quality control results are immediately comparable to your routine analysis and as such can provide direct improvements from which to safeguard your high-quality testing practices.
