Test Description

The drinking water industry is highly regulated across the world. There is a related responsibility to ensure that the source of the water, for example a river, has a low environmental pollution. Fapas surface water proficiency test samples replicate those used to test for potential environmental contamination, covering a wide range of determinands. These include routine components and trace metals.

This proficiency test focusses on evaluating your testing ability for metals in surface water. Surface water relates to open source bodies of water, such as rivers and lakes. Metals in drinking water occur naturally and dissolve in minute quantities into our water.

Fapas proficiency testing measures can highlight any improvements that may be required, as well as informing any subsequent quality assurance activities. Fapas proficiency testing measures can challenge your testing activities in much the same as routine analysis, therefore providing direct comparisons from which to ensure your results are highly credible and repeatable.
