Test Description

Polyfluoroalkyl substances are a group of synthetic chemicals that have been manufactured and used in a variety of industries around the globe. These chemicals are very persistent in the environment – meaning they don’t break down and can accumulate over time. Furthermore, there is also evidence that exposure to PFAS can lead to adverse human health effects.

Fish plays a large role within global protein intake. This can put a great deal of stress on an already strained global supply chain, leading to poor supply chain practises which can, in turn, lead to large consumer risks.

Fapas quality control materials are invaluable when addressing potential low quality testing standards, especially as part of a well-designed quality assurance procedure. By highlighting areas of improvement or bias quickly and accurately the key decisions to address poor testing abilities can be made rapidly to maintain high quality testing for your customers.
