Blank Material
This round cannot be purchased on its own, it is only available in conjunction with the similarly numbered pesticide residue round. Blank matrix samples are available to purchase with many of the proficiency test materials. Every effort has been made to ensure these do not contain the target analytes at concentrations that would compromise the nature of the proficiency test. Other analytes may be present. NB: Blank materials are not part of the proficiency test per se and so are not included in our scope of accreditation to ISO/IEC 17043.
Animal feed is an essential option for rearing high quality livestock. To ensure contaminants don’t enter the food chain, regulations are in place to manage feed and feed material production.
Pesticide Residues are used extensively across a range of crops. These are used with the goal of maintaining high-quality produce by controlling disease and pest impacts on crops. Through good farming practises levels of pesticide residues are usually low and under safe levels.
Fapas proficiency tests utilise real food matrices to provide direct comparisons to your routine testing ability, allowing you to highlight areas of improvement. This is all to safeguard your high quality testing activities across a range of testing environments and provide your customers with the credible results they require to meet strict regulations.
Blank materials from Fapas make use of real food and feed matrices to provide the key insights into your routine testing abilities you require. These can be used to maintain the level of accuracy required to satisfy both your customers and regulators of your testing capabilities.
